Welcome to AP Smart Revision ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and web portal.

2. Information We Collect

We collect minimal data necessary to provide our educational services:

• Personal Information: We collect your Name, Gender and Email Address via Google / Firebase Authentication to create a unique user profile and sync your progress across devices.
• Profile & Gameplay Data: Your chosen display name, avatar, level, XP, rank and premium status are used for progress and, where you take part, are shown on public leaderboards and in multiplayer battles.
• Educational Data: We process data related to your study topics, quiz performance, streaks, and revision schedules to generate personalized analytics.
• Content You Provide: Quizzes, notes, and the text, images, PDFs or documents you type, scan (via camera) or upload to generate quizzes. Camera and file access are used only when you choose to scan or upload.
• Payment Data: When you buy a plan or Nisk wallet top-up, payment is processed by Razorpay. We receive transaction status and identifiers but do not store your card or bank details.
• Technical Data: We may automatically collect device information (device model, operating system version) and push notification tokens to ensure compatibility, deliver notifications, and troubleshoot crashes.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

• To create and manage your account, wallet and purchases.
• To calculate personalized revision schedules based on the Spaced Repetition algorithm.
• To generate quizzes and AI-assisted tutoring responses from your text, images and documents via AI providers (queries are sent securely and are not used to train public models).
• To run challenges, multiplayer battles, the global arena and leaderboards, which display your public profile details to other participants.
• To send study reminders and notifications (if enabled).

4. Information Visible to Other Users

When you join a challenge, battle, global arena or leaderboard, other users can see limited public profile details such as your display name, avatar, score, rank, level, XP and premium status. Your email address and account credentials are never shown to other users. If you create and share a challenge link, anyone with the link can attempt that quiz.

5. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information. We share data only with trusted service providers essential for app functionality:

• Google Firebase & Google Sign-In: Authentication, backend infrastructure and database storage.
• Supabase: Wallet/Nisk ledger, global quizzes and analytics storage.
• Cloudflare Workers: Backend services such as rank calculation, leaderboards, quiz runtime, notes sync and payment/premium processing.
• AI Providers (Google Gemini, OpenAI, and similar): Used to generate quizzes and academic responses from the content you provide.
• Razorpay: Secure payment processing for plans and Nisk top-ups. We do not store your card or bank details.
• Crisp: In-app support chat.
• Expo Notifications: Push notification delivery.
• Optional integrations: Where you choose to use them — Testbook import (your synced mock scores), Pixabay (image search), Telegram and YouTube links.

6. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
